When I’m asked what the Cinta Aveda Institute is, I have a hard time calling it a “beauty school,” even just for the sake of clarification. The Institute is a much more than that. As a former student at a beauty school, I can’t stress enough the differences between the two. While a beauty school might be a more financially feasible option, I believe you really get what you pay for and then some at the Cinta Aveda Institute.
As I approach the end of my 600 hours of training and await my upcoming State Board test, I feel confident in my skills and totally ready for the working world. After completing 1000 hours at the beauty school I was attending four years ago, I could not say the same for myself; I was totally unsure of where I was going and lacked confidence in my education. I feel what sets the Institute apart from other schools is the approach taken by the company as a whole. There is a constant push for all of us students to succeed and when we are faced with adversity or frustration in a certain topic, we are met warmly by our instructors to try a different approach while still being reminded to keep going.
